Divine Masadao Wally outpoints Vietnamese Nguyen Thi Chin to win the most coveted gold medal in the 48 kilograms Wushu Sanda event today December 3, 2019.
Divine is from Sadanga, Mountain Province and she is a cousin of Mixed Martial Art legend Eduard Folayang.
In 2018, Divine took home the bronze medal in the 9th Sanda World Cup held in China and also the bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
Divine is known to be one of the most dependable female Wushu-Sanda athletes in Southeast Asia.
She is also the first female member of the Philippine Wushe Team to win the World Wushu Championship in 2015 and 8th Sanda World Cup in 2016.
