The Department of Science and Technology has selected University of the Cordilleras as one of its grantees for Higher Education Institution Readiness for Innovation and Technopreneurship (HEIRIT) Program. A DOST-PCIEERD Institutional Marker is awarded to symbolize the partnership.

The UC Innovation and Nurturing Space Technology Business Incubator (UCIANS TBI) is intended to provide business and technology transfer opportunities to the University’s employees, students, and local entrepreneurs.

Part of the partnership is an institutional grant of PHP17.1M supporting the establishment of TBI Center for UC, implementation of Intellectual Property(IP) and Technology Transfer Policies, and development of educational gamed-based applications in the delivery of chemistry courses.
