Mobile Training on Pedagogy and Action Research

The University of the Cordilleras โ€“ College of Teacher Education (UC-CTE), recognized as a Center of Excellence in Teacher Education, organized a series of inclusive training programs, open to the general public from January to December 2022. UC-CTE played a pivotal role in enhancing the educational landscape throughout the year 2022.

In collaboration with esteemed partners such as the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education, UC-CTE extended its expertise through free professional training sessions. These sessions, focused on pedagogy and action research, were specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of educators within the Cordillera Administrative Region. Importantly, these initiatives were strategically dispersed across various Teacher Education Institutions, including the smaller institutions, ensuring accessibility for educators in remote areas.

Led by the dedicated faculty members of UC-CTE, these training programs aimed to address the educational requirements of school administrators, researchers, and teachers hailing from both public and private schools. The diverse range of topics covered enabled participants to delve into innovative teaching methodologies and collaborative strategies. These initiatives were not only beneficial for experienced educators but also aimed at preparing pre-service teachers for their forthcoming professional journeys.

Through these efforts, UC-CTE reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge dissemination, and educational empowerment within the region. The collaboration between academia and practitioners stood as a testament to the university’s dedication to the holistic development of the education sector.
