UC is a recently-approved university to offer DOST scholarship program in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) under the Project Science and Technology Regional Alliance of Universities for National Development (Project STRAND) of the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST -SEI).
The program offers full scholarships to grantees pursuing UC’s niche graduate programs in Master and Doctor in Information Technology.
Former DOST Secretary Fortunato de la Peña led the technical evaluation in September 2022.
