Luis William C. Meing, UC CITCS faculty member, wins the Innovation Ecosystem Pillar of the Design Thinking Workshop during the National Innovation Day 2023 by developing the UBEBE Application prototype – a digital marketplace that aims to accelerate the sales of ube crops by the indigenous people entrepreneurs.

UC is recognized as one of the Top 5 Design Thinkers out of 53 participants. Spearheaded by the National Economic Development Authority, the workshop, with 5 distinct pillars, was held in April 2023 in Pasay City.
