CBA Gets Renegotiated Anew

Kapatiran ng mga Empleyado ng University of the Cordilleras (KEUC) Former President David Camiwet said during the ceremonial signing of renegotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the union and the University of the Cordilleras (UC) on May 3, 2023.

Both parties attributed their smooth and successful negotiation to their strong Labor Management Cooperation. UC President Nancy Flores said the school and the union negotiated with the intention of preserving the ability of the University to continuously provide for its employees.

The approved renegotiated CBA grants improved benefits across the board. This includes an increase in retirement benefits to qualified employees, longevity pay, clothing allowance, signing bonus, higher honorarium for advisors and additional two days service incentive leaves.

The renegotiated CBA shall be effective from 2023 to 2024. It will benefit 690 teaching and non-teaching personnel of the UC from its implementation.
