Japan’s Information Technology Promotion Agency and PhilNITS recognize the excellence of Anthony Flora Aromin, UC BSIT student, for clinching the 2nd Highest Score in the Philippines on the Level 2 Fundamentals of IT Engineering Examination held on April 30, 2023.

CITCS Student Innovators: Semi-Finalist for Int’l Smart City Prize
Sunshare, Renewable Energy Blockchain Marketplace, developed by Data Analytics student innovators qualifies to be a semi-finalist for the 2023 Seoul Smart City Prize. This marketplace aims to leverage blockchain technology and the adoption of renewable energy for sustainable living in urban landscapes. Project Sunshare represents the City of Baguio among Smart Cities, globally.

UC SHS students qualify for DOST Young Innovators Program
The Department of Science and Technology – PCIEERD approved the Project DANUM of UC senior high school students for its 2023 Young Innovators Program, with a grant of PHP406K. The project intends to design a scale – prototype that filters and neutralizes acid mine drainages in Itogon, Benguet.

JHS Nartates is #NSPC2023 Top 3 S&T Writer
Lhianna Dawn C. Nartates, junior high school student, clinched 2nd Runner Up during the Science and Technology Writing – English Category of the National School Press Conference 2023. A total of 17 participants from various regions participated in the event. The event was held in Cagayan De Oro from July 17 to 20, 2023.
