The University is honored with a Special Award for Excellence in Disaster Risk Management and Humanitarian Assistance in the HEI Category during the 23rd Gawad KALASAG. This recognition highlights UC’s dedicated initiatives which aim to foster growth and advancement within the community.

UC is also acknowledged as a finalist in the 23rd Gawad KALASAG for its readiness and resilience in facing disasters.

The award ceremony has taken place on December 11, 2023, in Manila.
