The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has recognized UC as one of the 32 member higher education institutions (HEI) in the Philippines of the Science and Technology Regional Alliance of Universities for National Development (STRAND – N).

UC as a delivering HEI may award scholarships for Doctor in Information Technology and Master in Information Technology graduate programs.

A ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with DOST was held on February 14, 2024, at the PH International Convention Center, Pasay City.
