Youth from the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Ilocos Region can now engage in comprehensive civic education through the Northern Luzon Sibika Hub.

This initiative aims to ensure inclusive access for all youth sectors and cultivate an environment conducive to learning about citizenship and democracy. By enhancing their knowledge, skills, and involvement in civic affairs, this program plays a pivotal role in nation-building and fortifying democracy.

UC has been appointed as the Sibika Hub for Northern Luzon by The Asia Foundation, in collaboration with the YouthLed Program of the United States Agency for International Development. Upholding the principle “Youth Engagement Support for United Civic Advocacy Network (YESUCAN),” the Northern Luzon Sibika Hub was inaugurated on March 8, 2024, at UC.
