#UCians were hailed as the overall champion (School of the Year Award) in the 2024 Philippine Media Advocacy Conference at the University of Santo Tomas held in May 2024.

Shiela Henry Buan’s “Salamin: Reflect, Fact-Check!” bagged the Gold and Viewer’s Choice Awards for Extemporaneous Teleprompter Category.

Jenelyn Kyla Daquigan and Rey Jerald Dieta champed the Public Service Announcement category with their “Tinig na Pilit Tinatanggalan ng Imik” entry.

The students also competed in the radio drama category with their entry “PePE Power.”

Seven (7) other universities across Luzon participated in the said event.
