Blue Zones Wellness and Longevity Movement partnered with the University through Project H.E.L.E.N. for the Laro ng Lahi / Ay-ayam Ti Umili Program of the 2nd Salun-at Wellness Festival. The Program aimed to guide, encourage, and help the youth towards holistic development through the revival of Filipino traditional games.
Elementary students from Baguio Central School and Baguio City Special Education Center with junior high school students from Guisad Valley National High School and Pines City National High School met at the University gymnasium on April 6, 2024, to compete against each other in different traditional Filipino games namely jump rope, paper plane making and flying, and sipa.
Baguio City Special Education Center emerged as the overall champion in the elementary division while Pines City National High School won in the high school division. Individual awards were given to winners of each category of games.
