Students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism won as national champions at the Philippine Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences/Conventions, and Exhibitionsโ (MICE) Youth Challenge (PMYC) 2024 held from July 10 to 12, 2024 in Clark Freeport Zone. Initially among the Top 5 national finalists, their winning event proposal stood out for its concept originality, innovation, and comprehensive industry knowledge.
The team also earned special awards for Best Pitch, Best Themed Attire, and Most Innovative Concept. Junio Jeankieth L. Cariรฑo received the Most Valuable Player Award.
The Tourism Promotions Board will support the team as they represent the Philippines at the Asia MICE Youth Challenge, hosted by the Asian Federation of Exhibitions and Convention Associations.
