Elizabeth Mae S. Almazan, Jeo Luis D. Calicdan, and Phea Khay M. Sumo, Computer Engineering students, have been recognized finalists in the 2024 BPI- Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Innovation Awards as announced on July 26, 2024. Their innovative photobioreactor technology aims to support sustainable urban beautification in Baguio City.

As finalists, the students received PHP 60,000 and will participate in a series of workshops hosted by BPI and DOST to enhance their technology, aiming to secure a spot in the top 3 outstanding projects in December 2024.
