Xhyple Au Limmong, BS Information Technology student, was recognized with the Best Paper Presentation award for Hypermedia at the 3rd International Conference on Information and Computing Research (iCORE), held from July 19 to 20, 2024, in Pasay.

Co-authored with Francheska Louise Serrano, Aries Lei Gapuz, and Jhunfel Dela Cruz, with Ms. Melinda Beninsig as their adviser, Limmong’s research paper introduced an augmented reality-based mobile application designed to preserve Cordilleran musical instruments.

iCORE 2024 featured a total of 79 paper submissions from 17 schools globally.
