UC STEM students present Materials Engineering Research at 6th DLSU SHS Research Congress

Four students from UC Integrated School, Stacy Eleoriene T. Arzadon, Jezreel V. Hernandez, Ara Isybelle T. Manalo, and Jamaeca Whine A. Payduan, showcased their research at the 6th De La Salle University (DLSU) Senior High School (SHS) Research Congress in June 2024.

Their study, guided by adviser Ms. Illuminada S. Menzi, explored the use of Titanium Dioxide and Corncob Activated Carbon as an admixture in concrete to function as a photocatalyst. Presented under the Materials Engineering theme, the research highlighted innovative approaches to sustainable construction.

Their research paper is set to be published in the DLSU Animo Repository.
