The University of the Cordilleras has been granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the next three years, 2024 to 2027. This was released through CHED Memorandum Order No. 07, series of 2024, dated 16 September 2024.

The grant recognizes UC’s exemplary achievements in education, research, and community engagement.

UC has been granted an Autonomous Status since 2010.
