Archi students win top 3 spots at RHSUDCC Cordillera 4PH Design Contest

3 groups of BS Architecture students from UC’s College of Engineering and Architecture achieved remarkable success by sweeping the top three spots–1st, 2nd, and 3rd places–at the 4PH Design Contest organized by the Cordillera Regional Human Settlement and Urban Development Coordinating Committee (RHSUDCC). The competition took place during the Coordinating Committee’s Housing Summit from October 9 to 11, 2024, in Baguio City.

Under the guidance of Ar. Aiza A. Fernandez, the students showcased architectural designs that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on resilient, livable, and sustainable vertical socialized condominium structures tailored to the 4PH Guidelines specific to the Cordillera region.

The winning designs will be adopted by the local government of Corner Apayao as part of their 4PH Housing Project.
