UC College of Teacher Education (CTE) received approval from the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) for its pioneering research project, Gamification of Cordilleras Traditional Sports and Games with Advanced Artificial Intelligence Analytics.
The project aimed to preserve and promote traditional Cordilleran sports through innovative AI-driven gamification techniques, making these cultural activities more accessible and engaging for students.
DOST-PCIEERD allocated PHP15 million for the project, which would facilitate research and development throughout the project’s duration. The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between DOST-PCIEERD and UC took place in Manila in October 2024.
