The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recognized UC as its Local Research Institute Partner, honoring the University for its significant contributions to DILG’s community programs.

The recognition was presented during an awarding ceremony held in October 2024 in Baguio City, acknowledging UC’s pivotal role in advancing initiatives that support sustainable development and community welfare.

UC is the only recognized higher education local research institute partner of DILG.

The University’s contributions include pioneering research projects focused on combating climate change and fostering key partnerships with various local and national agencies.
