UC College of Teacher Education has been awarded as a Center of Excellence in Teacher Education by the Teacher Education Council (TEC).

The award was conferred by Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary and TEC Council Chairperson, Senator Juan Edgardo Angara, during a ceremony held at DepEd Central Office in Pasay City on November 27, 2024.

UC is one of only 35 private higher education institutions nationwide conferred with this distinction.
