UC formalizes partnership with USAID Philippines for the establishment of a Wildlife Forensic DNA Barcoding Laboratory under the USAID INSPIRE Project during the Grant Award Ceremony on December 2, 2024.

The Project is supported by a PHP 3.6 million grant from USAID, with the Gerry Roxas Foundation Inc. and DENR-CAR serving as the project’s partner agencies. The project aims to enhance the capabilities of the existing UC Forensic DNA Laboratory by enabling advanced processing and examination of wildlife specimens through DNA barcoding technology.
