Konrad Franz Fechtelhoff, a German exchange student, immerses at UC Senior High School as part of the University’s partnership with the American Field Services (AFS) Intercultural Exchange Programs – Philippines.

Enrolled as a Grade 11 student, Fechtelhoff will gain firsthand experience of the Philippine education system and culture through class immersions and active participation in school activities designed to promote cultural exchange and awareness.

UC officials, led by Chairman Ray Dean D. Salvosa and President Dr. Nancy M. Flores, met with Fechtelhoff and his host parent Ms. Esther Roxanne B. Veridiano during a courtesy call on December 4, 2024. Fechtelhoff is expected to finish the program in June 2025.
