UC Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (InTTO) participated and exhibited various technology projects of #UCians and the University at large during the Startup Ignited 6 held in September 2024 at SLU Bakakeng Campus.

Dr. Thelma D. Palaoag, UC InTTO Director, contributed her expertise during the “Kwentuhan Session” as a panelist, where she highlighted the advantages of joining technology business incubators and accelerators for startup development.

Mr. Leandro Rey Gepila, UC Startup Development Associate, mentored aspiring entrepreneurs during the “Mastermind Session.” He provided valuable guidance on crafting effective business models for startups.

A standout moment was the special sample pitch by one of UC’s incubatees, Para Po!, a startup that previously won the “Best in Video Pitch” at the Philippine Startup Challenge 8. Their presentation demonstrated the potential of student-led innovations.

Startup Ignited 6 brought together innovators, mentors, investors, and startup enthusiasts for a day of networking, learning, and collaborative discussions.
