Over 70 innovative Capstone Projects from students of the College of Information Technology and Computer Science (CITCS) underwent evaluation by the UC Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (InTTO) as part of its Technology Business Incubation Assessment in October 2024.

The InTTO team assessed the viability of the studentsโ€™ ideas, focusing on their validation processes and providing crucial feedback on whether to refine, pivot, or advance their concepts. This initiative also served as a platform to identify promising, scalable projects for the Universityโ€™s Startup Incubation Program.

The event highlighted the students’ potential to contribute to the startup ecosystem and the broader tech industry.
