The Municipality of Kabayan, through the Municipal Tourism Officer Mr. Fernan A. Bangonan, received the award-winning audio-visual presentations and promotional materials from UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (UC CHTM) during the Adivay Festival in November 2024, held in La Trinidad, Benguet.

The marketing collaterals, designed to promote sustainable tourism and cultural preservation, were developed by BS Tourism Management students Cedrick Wigan B. Dominong and Christia May B. Reyes. Their innovative work secured Gold Medal Award in the Travel and Tour Competition during the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Week 2024, organized by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio earlier that month.

The students were guided by Ms. Yvonne Aragon and Ms. Rose Beronilla, UC CHTM faculty members, as coaches.

This collaboration underscored UC CHTM’s dedication to nurturing tourism professionals who contribute meaningfully to community development and cultural heritage.
