UC received commendation from city officials for winning the Best Higher Education Institution during the 24th Gawad KALASAG National Awards. The award, which recognizes excellence in disaster risk reduction and management, was presented during a ceremony held on December 13, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
