Kris Joie J. Bejar, a Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) student from UC Senior High School, emerged as the Champion in the English Essay Writing competition during the Provincial Eliminations of the University of the Philippines’ (UP) Namnama Sirib ken Saririt.

The event took place on January 11, 2025, at UP Baguio. Bejar’s victory secures a coveted spot in the upcoming Regional Finals, to be held in Ilocos Sur.
