A team of Computer Engineering (CpE) students from UC College of Engineering and Architecture composed of Jibeon Evangelista, Kensper Mark Jose, and Jamasia Elopre, emerged as champions the 2025 Regional CpE Challengeโ€™s Robothon Pitching Competition held on January 10, 2025.

Their innovative design, coupled with thorough research and an outstanding technical presentation, impressed the panel of judges, earning them the top spot among competing universities in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The team’s pitch, focused on addressing Sustainable Development Goal 6, clean water and sanitation, was lauded for its creativity, practicality, and potential for real-world impact. This impressive achievement not only secured them the championship title but also earned UC a coveted spot as the regionโ€™s representative in the upcoming National CpE Challenge later this year.
