The University showcased its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) initiatives to delegates from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) during a benchmarking activity on January 17, 2025.

The activity highlighted UC’s commitment to safety and resilience, underscored by its recognition as Gawad Kalasag’s Best Higher Education Institution in 2024. Presentations covered the best practices in humanitarian assistance, foundational safety and security programs, and ongoing research initiatives. The session also introduced UC’s newly launched Master in GeoDRR program.
