Third-year Hotel and Restaurant Administration and Culinary and Food Service Management students from the UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) ventured on an experiential learning trip to Manila on March 9, 2025, immersing themselves in the metroโ€™s hospitality and culinary scene.

The experiential learning featured exclusive insights into large-scale food production at MacroAsia Catering Services, a premier airline catering provider. Further enriching the experience, students participated in hotel immersions at Hotel Lucky Chinatown and Okada Manila, witnessing world-class hospitality operations.

The itinerary also included a food crawl in Binondo, where students savored authentic Chinese cuisine and explored culinary traditions, and a historical tour of Intramuros to deepen their appreciation of Philippine heritage.
