Hospitality and Tourism students, with faculty members, from UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) demonstrated their commitment to environmental sustainability by planting 30 pine tree seedlings during their Environmental Conservation Initiatives on March 22, 2025, along Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City.

Guided by the City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO), represented by Mr. Floro Bastian, the students also engaged in tree-caring activities and a clean-up drive.

The event saw participation from the candidates of Mr. and Ms. UC CHTM 2025, student-officers of the College Student Council, and the members of the League of Tourism Students of the Philippines – UC Chapter, highlighting their dedication to responsible tourism and community stewardship.
