Members of the Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) of UC College of Business Administration, in collaboration with the University’s Center for Social Responsibility through Project H.E.L.E.N., successfully launched Storybooks Savings: A Community Service Initiative at Pacalso Elementary School in Itogon, Benguet, in March 2025.

The initiative featured the beautification of the school’s reading area, interactive storytelling sessions for Kindergarten to Grade 3 students, and financial literacy workshops for Grades 4 to 6. Additionally, 30 books were donated to benefit both students and staff.

This project aligns with Project H.E.L.E.N.’s focus on Education, Environment, and Nurturance and supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
