Over 130 student researchers in Criminology and Forensic Science from the UC College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) participated in an informative session on intellectual property (IP) protection. Organized in collaboration with the UC Innovation and Technology Transfer Office (UC-InTTO), the event aimed to equip students with crucial knowledge on how to protect their research and innovations.

The initiative, led by Dr. Debbie Karyle Arquero, CCJE Research and Innovation Coordinator, and Ms. Lyka Pasinhon, CCJE Faculty, focused on educating students about various types of IP rights and their relevance to the field of criminal justice education.

Ms. Vanessa Kate Aniceto, UC-InTTO Tech Transfer Associate, guided the session, offering valuable insights on securing intellectual property assets.
