UC College of Teacher Education was honored with the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Award for elementary and secondary levels by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

UC is one of 33 TEI’s among 1,553 higher education institutions nationwide to receive dual awards. The awards recognize UC CTE’s dedication to National Education Development Goals, underscoring its commitment to excellence in pre-service teacher education, demonstrated through its accredited programs and outstanding performance in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

The awarding ceremonies was held during CHED’s EQUATE Awards in Manila Hotel on April 2, 2025.
