A team of Grade 11 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students from UC Senior High School earned the Best in Research Proposal award at Salikseek 2025, a national research congress organized by the UP Communication Research Society at UP Diliman.

The groupโ€”Kris Joie J. Bejar, Aryanna Leisha B. Nginhena, Justine Chloe T. Penrad, James Bryan B. Simon, and Robinford M. Tuazonโ€”was recognized for their compelling study titled โ€œFrom Roots to Rhythms: The Material and Non-Material Culture Integrated in ALAMATโ€™s Music.โ€

Their success underscores the critical and creative scholarship developed within UCโ€™s HUMSS strand and their commitment to exploring Filipino identity through contemporary music.
