UC hosted the 25th Philippine Computing Science Congress (PCSC 2025) in May 2025. Organized by the Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), the event gathered over 200 computing science educators, researchers, students, and ICT professionals from across the country and neighboring regions for four days of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
PCSC 2025 featured plenary talks by prominent national and international researchers, concurrent sessions of peer-reviewed papers, and panel discussions addressing emerging trends and challenges in digital technologies. Keynote lectures covered topics such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Dr. Thelma D. Palaoag, UCโs Director for Innovation and Technology Transfer and Chair of the PCSC 2025 Local Organizing Committee, highlighted the event’s significance in promoting regional participation and inclusivity in computing research.
UC students from the College of Information Technology and Computer Science also participated in the said event.
