Benjamin Arellano Macadangdang, Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science, Class of 1991, is a distinguished leader in local governance and community development. He previously served as a Political Science Instructor at Baguio Colleges Foundation, now UC, from 1995 to 1998, combining academic insight with hands-on leadership.

His public service journey began as a Kabataang Barangay officer and later as Punong Barangay of Lourdes Subdivision, Baguio City. Over the years, he has taken on key roles in the local government, civic organizations, and police-community advisory groups. Now serving as Executive Assistant IV at the City Government of Baguio, Macadangdang continues to advance community-focused governance.

In recognition of his enduring commitment to grassroots leadership and social responsibility, he has been honored with the Hall of Fame Award for Outstanding Punong Barangay and the prestigious Golden Eagle Award.
