Dr. Angelita Ancheta Padilla, Master in Guidance and Counseling, Class of 1984, has dedicated over four decades of her life to education, institutional leadership, and community empowerment. She served UC from 1975 to 2014 in key roles such as Psychometrician, Guidance Director, Vice President for Administration, and faculty member, touching countless lives through her teaching and mentorship.
Even in retirement, Dr. Padilla remains a guiding force by mentoring students in the fields of health and conducting institutional trainings. Her impact extends far beyond the academe, as she continues to consult with LGUs, NGOs, and international agencies like USAID and OPAPP, championing gender advocacy, peacebuilding, and inclusive social development.
A recipient of the 2011 Outstanding Woman Leader of Baguio City award and a long-time Barangay Kagawad, she now serves as Vice Chair of the IGOROTA Foundation, remaining a steadfast voice for women, children, and indigenous communities.
