The UC Center for Social Responsibility’s Project H.E.L.E.N. took part in the Brigada Eskwela at Mabini Elementary School on June 9, 2025. This participation mobilized volunteers in support of community development and help create a more conducive learning environment for students.

In collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health office, the event also received support from the University’s Emergency Response Volunteers and interns from the College of Criminal Justice Education.

Project H.E.L.E.N. volunteers actively engaged in various clean-up activities, including weeding, trimming overgrown branches, clearing roots, and removing damaged chairs to improve classroom space and ensure the school’s safety and cleanliness.
