The UC Center for Social Responsibilityโ€™s Project H.E.L.E.N. took part in the Brigada Eskwela at Mabini Elementary School on June 9, 2025. This participation mobilized volunteers in support of community development and help create a more conducive learning environment for students.

In collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health office, the event also received support from the Universityโ€™s Emergency Response Volunteers and interns from the College of Criminal Justice Education.

Project H.E.L.E.N. volunteers actively engaged in various clean-up activities, including weeding, trimming overgrown branches, clearing roots, and removing damaged chairs to improve classroom space and ensure the school’s safety and cleanliness.
