The University recognized two outstanding personnels for their exceptional contributions to research during its 79th Founding Anniversary celebration on June 19, 2025.

Dr. Thelma D. Palaoag, Director of the Innovation Technology and Transfer Office and Professor at the College of Information Technology and Computer Science, received the Excellence in Research Publication Award for achieving the highest number of Scopus and Web of Science publications over the past academic year.

Dr. Christian T. Pascual, Director of the UC Global Engagement Office and Professor at the College of Criminal Justice Education, was awarded the Excellence in Research and Innovation Grants Award for securing the highest number of funded research projects within the same period.
