Two teams of student innovators from the University won major awards in the college category of the DisruptorX National Finals held on June 30, 2025, in Cagayan de Oro City.
BS Business Administration students clinched 4th Place with their project AeroAid, a drone-powered medical logistics platform designed to deliver life-saving medicine to remote and disaster-prone communities. Meanwhile, a team of ITCS and BS Electronics Engineering students placed 7th for Turomi, a student-centered platform that connects college students with mentors and real-world projects to bridge the gap between education and employment.
With a total of 129 entries from higher education institutions across the Philippines, the winning students showcased their innovative solutions to real-world problems as next-generation tech creators.
