Jefrey P. Honrado, BSED Filipino Class of 2015 from the College of Teacher Education, has been awarded a grant under the Teaching Program for International Teachers (DAI) by the U.S. Department of State and the Philippine-American Educational Foundation through the Fulbright Program.

The only grantee from Northern Luzon, Honrado currently teaches at Baguio City High School. For School Year 2025–2026, he will join the University of Rochester in New York as part of his professional exchange program.

While completing his degree at UC, Honrado also served as a student assistant at the College of Nursing Laboratories.
