The UC Sports Development Office celebrated the strength and athletic prowess of its student-athletes during its Saleng Ti Dayaw 2025 Recognition Program held in August at the UC Theater.

With the theme “Excellence Beyond Games,” the ceremony recognized athletes of Academic Year 2024–2025 who balanced the rigors of training and competition with academic discipline. Their resilience, achievements, and personal growth were at the heart of the night’s tributes.

Video features and heartfelt testimonials traced the journeys of student-athletes who rose through challenges both on and off the field. A symbolic candle-lighting added poignancy, honoring the commitment that fuels UC’s sports community.

By spotlighting perseverance and growth as much as medals and titles, Saleng Ti Dayaw 2025 reaffirmed UC’s promise: that the true measure of a champion goes far beyond the games.
