Charlie James P. Batin, a Grade 12 HUMSS student from UC Integrated School – Senior High School, is currently participating in the American Field Services (AFS) International Exchange Program in Malaysia. This opportunity was made possible by the AFS Scholarship, funded by Mary Grace Cafรฉ and in collaboration with AFS Indonesia and AFS Malaysia.
Charlie is engaged in an 11-week cultural immersion program, which began in July and will conclude in October 2025. His experiential learning encompasses opportunities to live abroad, cultivate global competencies, and gain a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity.
Under the guidance of his SHS Adviser, Ms. Emilyn P. Estoesta, Charlieโs participation in this program highlights UCโs commitment to global education.
