The University’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management proudly clinched 3rd Place in the inaugural Amazing Race Baguio on September 14, 2025.

Representing UC were BS Tourism Management students Kale Makaveli O. Dumaguing, Shena Mae S. Flora, Queeni S. Pablo, Loraine B. Regatcho, and Roger Jr. L. Rance, whose teamwork stood out in the competition.

Faculty members Ms. Rose Ann B. Garcia and Ms. Kyra A. Emengga served as coaches for the students.

Organized by the City Government of Baguio through its Tourism, Culture and Arts Division as part of the Tourism Week 2025 celebration, the event gathered tourism and hospitality students from various schools. The race brought participants across Baguio’s iconic landmarks, where they faced competitive challenges focusing on wellness, history, creativity, recreation, culture, and inclusivity.
