Grade 7 to Grade 10 Junior High School (JHS) students explored the wonders of nature through a Community-Based Learning activity at the Botanical Garden, Baguio City, on October 2, 2025, as part of the Science and Math Month 2025 culminating event and the University’s JHS Innovation Program.

The activity allowed students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings. They observed and identified various plant species, gathered and analyzed scientific data, and explored the ecological and mathematical aspects of their environment.

Through hands-on exploration, students deepened their appreciation for biodiversity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
