Atty. Renecio โLukeโ Espiritu Jr. urged students to take an active role in fighting corruption and advancing political reform during an educational forum on October 1, 2025, at the University Auditorium.
Hosted by the UC Political Science Society, the open-mic forum titled โFloods of Corruption, Waves of Resistanceโ provided a platform for dialogue on the state of governance in the Philippines.
Atty. Espiritu, serving as the keynote speaker, tackled the persistence of corruption in government and challenged the students to become catalysts for transparency and accountability.
Students engaged directly with Atty. Espiritu in discussing the effectiveness of the current political system, the limits of reform, and the role of civic participation in building ethical leadership.
The event concluded with a collective call for action, urging the students to take part in shaping a more transparent and just political landscape.
