UC student leaders showcased their leadership excellence on the national stage as University Student Council (USC) President Sean Dale Manaloto and Vice President Don Aquino actively participated in the 2025 Midyear Interactive Youth Forum held on September 17โ19, 2025, at Summit Galleria, Cebu City.
Representing the UC student body, Manaloto and Aquino joined fellow youth leaders from across the country in discussions on transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership–core values that define good governance. Their participation ensured that the voices of UC students were heard in national conversations on leadership and civic engagement.
Manaloto brought honor to UC after being elected as Cluster Chair for NCR, CAR, and Regions 1, 2, and 3, leading interregional collaborations among youth delegates. He also won the Best Video Award for his Student Leadership and Good Governance Advocacy Video.
Accompanying the student leaders were Director of Student Affairs and Services Ms. Nova Baldo, Head of the Student Development and Welfare Office Ms. Jennifer Malayo, and USC Adviser Mr. Jonathan Ilagan. Ms. Baldo and Ms. Malayo were also recognized during the forum–Ms. Baldo received the Best Emblem Award, while Ms. Malayo earned the Best Video Award (Student Affairs Practitionerโs Category).
Organized by the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. the forum served as a national platform for dialogue and collaboration between student leaders and practitioners committed to promoting good governance and ethical leadership among the youth.
