The City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO), in partnership with UC through its Center for Social Responsibilityโs Project H.E.L.E.N., conducted the second batch of electronic waste hauling as part of UC’s ongoing community engagement initiative on October 13, 2025.
The activity underscores UCโs commitment to environmental stewardship under its Greenovation Sustainability Campaign, which envisions the University as a model zero-waste campus. By turning over accumulated e-waste to CEPMO, the institution reinforces responsible disposal practices and aligns with the cityโs ecological objectives.
Benefiting the general public, the initiative not only mitigates environmental hazards from improper e-waste disposal but also amplifies civic responsibility in building a cleaner, greener, and more resilient city.
